Cancellation Policy

All membership fees and event registrations are final. Once payment has been processed, refunds cannot be issued under any circumstances. This policy allows us to maintain the quality and consistency of our community experience for all members.
Membership subscriptions
Membership subscriptions are non-transferable and for the personal use of the account holder only. Subscriptions cannot be transferred to another person or used by anyone other than the registered member.
Event & other activities cancellations
If you need to cancel your attendance at an event or any other activity:
- More than 72 hours before the event: please notify us as soon as possible by emailing hello@social-capital.community. While we cannot provide refunds, we appreciate advance notice to better plan our events. We will try our best to make a transfer, and offer to attend a similar opportunity (however it cannot be guaranteed).
- Less than 72 hours before the event: cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice cannot be accommodated for potential transfers.
In case of no-show
Not attending a registered event or other activities without prior notice negatively impacts the experience for other members and our ability to plan effectively. To ensure the best experience for all members:
- For the first time: we will issue a warning
- From the second time onwards: we reserve the right to restrict access to Social Capital activities
We understand that unexpected situations arise, which is why we ask for at least 72 hours' notice when possible. Thank you for your understanding, as this policy helps us provide a seamless experience for every professional.
In case of late arrival
If you are running more than 15 minutes late to an event held at a venue, please contact the venue directly. We may not guarantee your place if you arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.
Exceptions
We understand that unforeseen circumstances, including illness, can arise. However, we cannot make exceptions, as to maintain the quality and consistency of our experience for all our members.
Non-transferability and no-reselling rule
All tickets purchased are non-transferable and may only be used by the original purchaser. Reselling of your ticket (reservation) is not allowed. Tickets cannot be resold, transferred, or given away for any purpose without explicit permission from Social Capital.
Liability Disclaimer
Social Capital is not responsible for any incidents that occur during events or meetings arranged through our community, including but not limited to theft, loss of personal belongings, or disputes between members. Members participate in all activities at their own risk and responsibility.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
Social Capital is not responsible for allergic reactions or dietary issues related to food and beverages served at events and other activities. Members with allergies or dietary restrictions must inform venue staff directly and take necessary precautions for their own safety.
